The host trailer for the upcoming season of the ABC TV show The Late Show, which will air on Wednesday, May 8, 2016, has been released by the broadcaster.
The trailer, which was released on Wednesday and has been viewed more than 9.5 million times, includes a photo of presenter Stephen Fry dressed in a red suit, a photo taken by presenter Amy Poehler, and a photo that shows presenter Stephen Hawking wearing a white feather mask.
The host will be revealed by the show’s host at the end of the episode.
The teaser, which has been seen more than 5.5m times, is entitled ‘I am a scientist who has a secret identity’.
The trailer was released via a social media campaign.
The show will be airing in the UK on BBC One on Wednesdays at 6.30pm.
The first episode of The Late Late Show will be shown on Wednesday June 4 at 8pm.
“It’s the last week of the year and we’re really looking forward to it,” host Stephen Fry said in a statement.
“I am truly grateful to all the amazing people who have worked so hard on this show, and we’ve really got a fantastic cast.”
In addition to the host trailer release, a series of online ads have also been released, highlighting the show, including an advert for the show on Facebook that says “The late night show is about the most amazing things, and I am a physicist and a doctor who has my own secret identity”.
“It is going to be the most fun and the most interesting episode ever.
It’s going to reveal all the hidden secrets,” it says.
The Late Night with Stephen Fry is one of the BBC’s most popular late night programmes.
It was recently nominated for an Outstanding British Movie at the British Academy Awards.
